Minutes of Commission meeting held on August 29, 2006.
~
Present:  Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Patricia Caron and Rolf Hilbig.  Absent:  Steven Anderstrom, Howard Fife, Ann Hall and James Wettlaufer.

7:00 p.m.  Chairperson called the meeting to order.

7:05 p.m.  Minutes of Commission Meeting held on August 22, 2006 were not read due to a lack of a quorum.  We remained open in an advisory capacity.

7:10p.m.  Mary vandenBerg received from Ann Capra of the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission a Water Shed Assessment map to be used for the Lake Oversight Committee’s Stream Study.

We received from GoeSyntec Consultant a disk entitled Massachusetts Nonpoint Source Pollution Management Manual “The Clean Water Toolkit”.

7:25 p.m.  Andrew Harhay, DEP File #184-0205 project location, Lot 5, Mashapaug Rd. gave us a receipt from the Hampden County Registry of Deeds for his recorded Order of Conditions.  Procedure Sheet #2006-1126 signed by Mary vandenBerg.

We received in the mail from Green Hill Engineering a Request for Determination of Applicability for Rudolph Brandi of 21 Shore Dr. to repair a septic system within the Buffer Zone.  A Public Hearing is to be arranged.

7:45 p.m.  Todd Mayo, represented Zazislaw (Ziggy) Prcyna who purchased the property on Union Rd. formerly owned by Charles Day, questioned whether they could start their project DEP File #184-164.  They were informed that Steve Bressette of Jalbert Engineering had received a revised Order of Conditions for that project and that they should contact him.

8:00 p.m.  Mark Gordon of 46 Stony Hill Rd. plans to demolish his cottage and re-build and also put in an artisan well.  He was given a Notice of Intent form and advised to hire an engineer.

8:25 p.m.  Ron and Sharon Keyes of 113 Sandy Beach Rd. plan to add a second floor to their house.  Lacking a quorum we were unable to proceed and advised them to return on 9-5-06.

8:45 p.m.  Karl Johnson who plans to build at 166 Stafford Rd. was also informed that due to a lack of a quorum we were not able to proceed and was advised to return on 9-5-06.

Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
